Hi Everyone,  It's January, it's cold, but Natchez is still a great place to visit.  The Mississippi River is high at Natchez, but we are high and dry. Please remember, Natchez  was settled up here on a 200 foot bluff  some 300 years ago because of it's level above the river.  So come on and visit.  Our tour homes are open.  Our museums, antique stores, restaurants and shops are open for business.  Sunset at the Mississippi River Bluffs is still a beautiful photo op.  Go to http://natchezms300.com/events/calendar/ for a full listing of upcoming Natchez Events.
Visit our FaceBook page https://www.facebook.com/bislandhouse/?ref=hl and read our daily Natchez History minutes from our National Park Service.    Hope to see you soon, Christine
